House rules

Placeholder: the owner will write the final house rules. The points below hold in the meantime and set the shape of the eventual page.

1. Play the ball, not the player. Strong opinions about performances, tactics and decisions are what this site is for. Personal abuse of players, staff, officials or other fans is not. Criticise the penalty, not the person's family. Posts about anyone's private life (relationships, family, health, home, jobs outside football) are removed.
2. No discrimination, ever. Racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory content means removal and a ban.
3. Write it yourself. Don't paste other people's articles or paywalled content. Quote briefly and link instead.
4. No rumours presented as fact. Label speculation as speculation, especially about transfers, contracts or people's private lives.
5. No advertising or self-promotion without arranging it with the site first: and no gambling content anywhere.
6. Reports are reviewed by people. Content reported three times is hidden automatically until a reviewer looks at it, so don't abuse the report button.
